Mid-Hudson Works

"You all rock!"

The Story

Dan was on his way back from the Mid-Hudson Works facility when he called me. I hadn’t been able to make the trip and was eagerly waiting to hear his report.

“Man, this is one of those projects where you know its going to feel good afterwards,” he said. “The place, what they have going on, you feel that honor and pride. Just good people making a difference.”

We did our best to make a difference ourselves, building a rock-solid site that will help the folks at Mid-Hudson Works fulfill their combined mission of helping local veterans and small businesses. My goals were to deliver consistent brand messaging, simplify the site architecture, and create clean customer flows to donations and the roastery mini-site. Dan, as always, went above and beyond on the development phases.

While this was a small build, it was as significant to us as a project 10x bigger.

What was done

My role was design. I wire-framed and designed the entire website, including the mini-site and e-commerce experience for North River Roasters.
